How advisors are listed

What a listing means, where it comes from, and how an advisor can change it.

Public sources only

We list an advisor when its own public website, or a public registry, shows that it offers one or more strategies in our library. Each strategy on a page links to the source that says so.

Firms, not people

Listings are for firms and practices. We don’t publish individuals’ names, contact details or personal information, only business information the firm publishes.

No scores, no ranking

Advisors are not scored, ranked or recommended. Order is alphabetical. A listing is a statement of what the advisor says it offers, not a finding about its quality or its clients’ results.

Claiming and disputing

A listing marked Unclaimed has not been registered by the advisor. The advisor can register and claim it; a reviewer confirms they represent the practice. After verification they can add a description, and send a correction with evidence for anything on the page. Anyone can also dispute a listing without registering. A reviewer checks the request against public records and corrects or removes the listing when the facts support it. A listing stays up until it is corrected or removed.

Strategies and sponsors

Each advisor links to the strategy pages it offers, and each strategy page lists its advisors next to its sponsors. A sponsor relationship appears on an advisor’s page only when a public source shows it or the sponsor confirms it.
